Given that serial number X that would indicate it is pre-1953 and 11690 would suggest it is likely a 1947 manufacture date.It is a Browning BPS Hunter 12ga made in 1989 according to the dating chart from their website. 1977-1997 In 1976 Browning standardized its serial number identification which it followed until 1998. 1.
